We heard at the start of the week that the film will be premiering out in Utah next month at Sundance, and now the first image of Gordon-Levitt and his co-star, Scarlett Johansson, has debuted online, giving us a great first look at them both.
“In Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s charming directorial debut, a selfish modern-day Don Juan attempts to change his ways.”
Starring alongside them will be an excellent cast, headed up by Julianne Moore, Tony Danza, Glenne Headly, and Rob Brown.
Gordon-Levitt is directing from his own script, making his feature debut as both writer and director, with past collaborator Ram Bergman (Looper, Brick) and Nicholas Chartier (The Hurt Locker, The Company You Keep) producing.
Don Jon’s Addiction will be making its world premiere at Sundance in just over a month’s time, and is naturally an absolute must-see for those heading out to Park City for the festival. We’re hoping that this will find a very smooth road to distribution, because smart money says Don Jon’s Addiction is going to be one of the best films of next year. For now, here’s the great first image of Johansson and Gordon-Levitt, which you can click through to enlarge.
