We’re all very excited about David Fincher’s Gone Girl (which is why it took such a high spot on our list of the 20 most must-see movies still left to be released in 2014) starring Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike.

For those of you who may not be familiar with Gillian Flynn’s novel, Gone Girl focuses on the disappearance of Nick Dunne’s (Affleck) wife (Pike) and the subsequent investigation by the police and media as Nick struggles to clear his name all while his outward portrait of a blissful marriage begins to crumble.

The first clip from the movie has now been released along with a TV spot, and both give us a very interesting idea of the two sides to their relationship as Ben Affleck shows off two very different sides of one man.
