We’re going to put our hands up right now and admit that we’ve been Final Fantasy fans since VII’s paradigm-shifting RPG on the Playstation.
Since then, things have come a long, long way, but despite the graphical overhaul and real time action-orientated battle shift, it still has the thing we know and love best – story.
That rarity of Final Fantasy sequels, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is unsurprisingly a continuation of the tale begun in 2009’s Final Fantasy XIII. Yet with protagonist Lightning mysteriously missing, it’s left to her younger sister Serah and new guy Noel Kreiss to step up to the plate and find her.
