It’s the franchise that will never die…. well, as long as it keeps making money that is! Fast and Furious 5 is released in UK cinemas this coming Friday and glancing at the ratings for it on IMDb, it’s doing very very well with 8/10 from 697 votes (at time of writing) which you can’t argue is pretty good. Our review of the movie should hit HeyUGuys at any minute but in the meantime, the news comes from THR that Universal Pictures have hired Chris Morgan (writer of the fifth movie) to start work on Fast Six.

Morgan has previously been responsible for the third, fourth and fifth Fast and Furious movies as well as Wanted and has most recently written the script for Keanu Reeves’ new movie which is currently filming, 47 Ronin. THR tell is that Universal have secured Morgan in an exclusive writing deal for the next two years so they obviously want to keep his talents close to home.

More as we get it.
