At the end of January we posted the wonderful poster for the Luis Guadagnino film I Am Love starring Tilda Swinton, and in anticipation of the film’s release on April the 9th we’ve got an exclusive interview with Tilda Swinton to talk about the film and her next projects.

I Am Love was filmed last year and we’ve been waiting a long time for this one to come around, the Sundance US premiere garnered some very positive reviews and this tale of the domestic erosion on the eve of the Millennium is riding high on a critically positive wave following screenings at the Venice and Toronto film festivals.

Tilda Swinton has a stunning screen presence and her work over the last few years has seen her take on roles for The Coens and David Fincher (as a wonderful part of Benjamin Button’s backwards life) and her turn as The White Witch stepped cleverly over the puddles of cliche which lay strewn before anyone taking on the role.

Almost chameleonic in her ability to imbue her characters with a life of their own, almost shedding her own skin, Swinton is an intelligent actress and her role in I Am Love is very much the eye of the storm.
