Calm With Horses is a gritty, moving drama that boasts having a cast of some of the most exciting young talent in the UK and Ireland. We were fortunate enough to meet two of them, sitting down with two of the film’s leads Cosmo Jarvis (Lady Macbeth) and Niamh Algar (The Virtues).

Jarvis tells us about his process getting into the head of lead character Arm and the physical transformation that came with it, not to mention his scarily accurate accent. Algar also talks about her role, and her hopes for her future in the industry. We also ask Jarvis about Lady Macbeth, following the remarkable rise of the careers of both him and his female co-stars Florence Pugh and Naomi Ackie, and whether they all have a WhatsApp group…
