Synopsis: Chloe Moretz stars as Abby, a secretive 12-year old girl, who moves next door to Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee). Owen is a social outcast who is viciously bullied at school and, in his loneliness, forms a profound bond with his new neighbor. Owen can’t help noticing that Abby is like no one he has ever met before. As a string of grisly murders occupies the town, Owen has to confront the reality that this seemingly innocent girl is really a savage vampire.
Let Me In has been met with mixed reactions ever since Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) announced he’d be directing an American adaptation. The novel has been adapted before. Thomas Alfredson’s Let The Right One In was critically-lauded by both critics and audiences, and has been cherished by film lovers ever since, so there’s been a level of scepticism surrounding Matt Reeves’ version.
However, with this poster, the trailer, and the two images released yesterday, courtesy of Blogomatic3000, it’s safe to say Matt Reeves’ film looks set to put his own spin on the vampire love story, opening the film up to a whole new audience.

A panel for Let Me In will be present at Comic-Con on Saturday. Meanwhile, the film will be released in the UK on October 29, 2010.
