After it’s successful outing at this year’s Sundance film festival, Bart Layton’s feature, American Animals has received its first US trailer.
The crime thriller follows four over-confident and entitled friends as they commit an audacious art heist. If the trailer is anything to go by it seems to be lacking any strong female roles.

Directed by Bart Layton, the film stars Evan Peters, Barry Keoghan, Blake Jenner, Jared Abrahamson, Ann Dowd and Udo Kier.
The film hits US cinemas June 1st & UK 7th September.
