Elizabeth Olsen, who is receiving wide acclaim for her Sundance debut in Martha Marcy May Marlene, has been cast in Red Lights.
Olsen will star opposite Robert De Niro (Machete), Sigourney Weaver (Avatar) and Cillian Murphy (Inception) in director Rodrigo Cortes’ follow-up to the critically-acclaimed Buried.
Red Lights centers on a psychologist (Weaver), and her assistant, whose study of paranormal activity leads them to investigate a world-renowned psychic (De Niro).
Red Lights will be released in 2012.
