Confirmation 1 – If there is one villain in the MCU you can’t help but love it’s ‘Loki’ and it’s finally been confirmed he will be getting his own limited series for Disney’s new streaming service Disney Plus (Disney+).

The rumour mill has been doing overtime in the past few months as to which characters from the MCU will be making their way to the service with Tom Hiddleston’s Loki looking like a sure bet. We thank the Norse gods that Hiddleston will also be reprising his role as the lovable rogue – who else could possibly take over that role?

A timeline for the series has yet to be confirmed.

Other Marvel character’s rumoured to be getting their own series includes Elisabeth Olsen’s Scarlett Witch as well as Paul Bettany’s Vision but confirmation of these are yet to appear.

Confirmation 2 – Disney’s Bob Iger also confirmed that Lucasfilm were in development on a second ‘Star Wars’ live-action for the streaming service focusing on the adventures of the rebel spy Cassian Andor during the formative years of the Rebellion and prior to the events of ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’.

Diego Luna will reprise the role of Andor. Luna couldn’t be more excited to return to the role of Andor

Going back to the Star Wars universe is very special for me, I have so many memories of the great work we did together and the relationships I made throughout the journey. We have a fantastic adventure ahead of us, and this new exciting format will give us the chance to explore this character more deeply.”

The series is set to explore tales filled with espionage and daring missions to restore hope to a galaxy in the grip of a ruthless Empire.

Neither the Loki or Cassian Andor series or even Disney + have a launch date.
