Disney+ has dropped the official trailer for season two of ‘Deli Boys,’ and it looks like the Dar brothers are about to discover that swimming in dirty money comes with sharks attached.
The new trailer teases a season where Mir and Raj Dar are barely keeping their inherited criminal empire from collapsing under the weight of greed, revenge, and spectacularly bad choices. While season one focused on the brothers stumbling into the family business, season two throws them directly into the deep fryer of Philly’s underworld.
Mir attempts to expand DarCo without accidentally destroying it, while Raj becomes consumed with getting revenge on Ahmad—meanwhile, Philadelphia’s ambitious D.A. Andrew Chadwater sees the Dar operation as his ticket to becoming mayor.
Adding even more turbulence to the mix is Max Sugar, a casino boss, money launderer, and Lucky’s newest romantic complication. The trailer paints their relationship as less of a love story and more of a flaming getaway car rolling downhill without brakes.
Season two sees Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan reprise their leading roles, with comedy icon Fred Armisen joining the cast.
Recurring guest stars include Andrew Rannells and Kumail Nanjiani, while new guest stars Lilly Singh and Robin Thede join the madness alongside returning guest star Tan France.
The half-hour comedy was created by Abdullah Saeed and developed by Jenni Konner and Nora Silver under Jenni Konner Productions. Michelle Nader serves as showrunner and executive producer alongside Saeed, Konner, and Silver.
