Deadpool is currently shooting in a very exposed location, something which has led to a lot of set photos finding their way online (you can see a batch of them by clicking here). However, now that everyone has had a good look at the suit, there’s no reason for the kind of secrecy which surrounds normal comic book movies.

Of course, Deadpool is far from “normal”, and after that hilariously bizarre first official image, Ryan Reynolds has sent out another of himself in the suit. This time he’s sitting on the toilet reading Deadpool #250.

That comic went on sale yesterday and if you don’t understand the reference, the issue features the supposed death of the character ahead of Marvel’s upcoming Secret Wars event. Clearly Reynolds and the team working on Deadpool felt like poking fun at what most fans agree is a pretty pointless move.

Regardless, this is shaping up to be perhaps 2016’s most unique movie, and the marketing campaign is so far certainly differentiating it from what the likes of Marvel and Warner Bros. usually do with these adaptations.

Written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, Deadpool is directed by Tim Miller and set to be released on February 12th, 2016. Which characters do we want to see in Deadpool? Find that out by clicking here.
