Earlier today, Suicide Squad director David Ayer sent out a photo of his cast following a table read. There are a few cast members missing (Jared Leto, Scott Eastwood, and Jesse Eisenberg for example), but the biggest surprise here is the addition of Adam Beach, Jim Parrack and Ike Barinholtz, three actors who have not been mention or rumoured as being in Suicide Squad up until this point. So, who are they playing in the movie?

Well, Latino-Review claims that Joe Manganiello decided to pass on the role of Deathstroke and has been replaced by Parrack, in part because the studio decided to cast someone a little younger for the role. In the comic books, Slade Wilson is an assassin who was genetically engineered to surpass all human limits.

Barinholtz meanwhile will play Dr. Hugo Strange, a classic Batman villain and brilliant but disturbed psychologist who forms an obsessive vendetta against the Caped Crusader. He also deducts his identity.

Finally, Beach is being lined up for the role of Ravan, a fairly obscure villain and assassin who worships Kali, the Indian goddess of death. He kills in her honor. He’s been a member of the Suicide Squad and the Jihad.

Also pictured (from L-R) are director David Ayer, Joel Kinnaman (Rick Flagg), Will Smith (Deadshot), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Killer Croc), Jay Hernandez (El Diablo), Karen Fukuhara (Plastique), Margot Robbie (Harley Quinn), Jai Courtney (Captain Boomerang), Cara Delevingne (Enchantress), and Viola Davis (Amanda Waller).
