Directed by Niels Arden Oplev (the original The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Dead Man Down will be arriving in theatres this spring, and promises to be an intense action-thriller.
Oplev is reuniting with the deservedly-rising Noomi Rapace, who takes the female lead here opposite Colin Farrell.
We saw the first trailer arrive at the start of the year, and with just a few weeks to go before its US release date, Apple have treated us to a new featurette.
“DEAD MAN DOWN is an action thriller that stars Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace as two strangers whose mutual desire for revenge draws them together and triggers an escalating trail of mayhem. The film, which also stars Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper, marks the American theatrical debut of director Niels Arden Oplev (the original The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo).”
Starring alongside Farrell and Rapace will be Terrence Howard and Dominic Cooper, who look to complete the cast very nicely.
Oplev is directing from a script written by J.H. Wyman (Fringe), with Wyman producing alongside the great Neal H. Mortiz (I Am Legend, Fast Five).
Dead Man Down will be released in the US on 8th March. Still no word yet on a UK release date, but here’s to hoping it will be coming to our shores shortly afterwards. For now, here’s the new featurette to get you in the mood. Enjoy.
