Joe Dante (back on the big screen of late thanks to 3D feature, The Hole) is ready to teach those young pretenders to the horror throne a thing or two.

The Hollywood Reporter brings news that the Gremlins director is joining an ensemble of younger genre filmmakers to direct a new horror anthology feature called Paris, I’ll Kill You, a title which looks like a thinly-veiled pun on the 2006 romantic compilation of shorts set in the French capital, Paris, je t’aime (2006)

There’s an impressive line-up of international talent attached here, including the likes of Xavier Gens (Hitman and underrated horror Frontiers), Paco Plaza ([REC]), Vincenzo Natali (Splice), German promo director Joern Heitmann, and the UK’s Christopher Smith (Creep, Black Death).
