To celebrate the release of Kin, the new thriller drama series coming to Sundance Now via Amazon Prime Video Channels, we sat down with stars Charlie Cox and Clare Dunne to find out all about it.

With a sterling cast including Charlie Cox (Daredevil, Spider-Man: No Way Home), Clare Dunne (Herself), Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones, The Wire), and Oscar Nominee Ciarán Hinds (Belfast), Kin tells the tale of David versus Goliath the Kinsellas are out-numbered, out-financed and out-gunned. They find themselves holed up in their Dublin stronghold while their businesses fail, and family members and associates are picked off one by one. But the Kinsellas have something the cartel does not, and the unbreakable family bond and the power of their brood.

A dark and thrilling tale of gangsters who lurks a deadly world of drugs, guns, undercover assassins, and murder, both Cox and Dunne tells us just how impressed they were with the story and writing for the show and how it presents a different side to the much-regarded gangster story and how it subverts the sub-genre. We also chat Irish accents, family dynamics, raising their game amongst the show eclectic ensemble, and their hopes for a Season Two (which has since been announced).
