This is the second trailer we’ve seen for Bridge of Spies and the taut atmosphere continues apace as we get a better look at Steven Spielberg’s forthcoming Cold War thriller.
That we have a script revised by The Coen Brothers and Spielberg and Hanks reuniting makes this a tantilising prospect. Add in Mark Rylance in a pivotal role and we’ve got something of a must-see.
The trailer sets up the main thrust of the film, building up the claustrophic political climate of a lawyer plunged into the labyrinth of the Cold War, having to negotiate a prisoner swap deep in a divided Berlin.
The film is out mid-October in the States, the 6th of November over here.
