class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-11786″ title=”Bradley Cooper” src=”https://www.heyuguys.com/images/2010/02/bradley-cooper.jpg” alt=”” width=”220″ height=”150″ />The man that stole Warner Bros’ heart could very well be the favorite as we near the end of the year, when the Script for the new Flash film is due. Marc Guggenheim and Michael Green are penning the script at the moment and rumors are circulating about Bradley Cooper being the Scarlet Speedster.
A few years back Ryan Reynolds was set to play the part with David Goyer directing but unfortunately that fell through and with Reynolds starring as The Green Lantern, it takes him out of the new DC picture. DC isn’t against the idea of having Cooper be a part of the slew of DC films that are being released, which would hopefully end in some sort of Justice League film to rival The Avengers.
Now while I don’t think Cooper is that funny or that great of an actor, I do think he may actually fit the role of The Flash. He has a distinct look and I think has both the attitude and intellect to play the role. I’ll be curious to see who the other options are before I make a final judgement on who I think should take the role.
