Bleeker Street has released an intense new trailer for political thriller Beirut starring Jon Hamm and Rosamund Pike.

The film, which premieres at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival is directed by The Machinist’s Brad Anderson stars Hamm and Pike alongside Dean Norris, Shea Whigham, Larry Pine and
Mark Pellegrino.

Set during the 1980’s, Jon Hamm plays the role of Mason Skiles, a former U.S. diplomat who returns to service to save a former colleague, While, Rosamund Pike plays the role of a CIA field agent working undercover at the American embassy who’s tasked with keeping Mason alive and ensuring the mission is a success.

The film will release the film on April 13, 2018.

Caught in the crossfire of civil war, CIA operatives (Rosamund Pike) send a former U.S. diplomat (Jon Hamm) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.
