Steve Carell and Timothee Chalamet’s Beautiful Boy came to the capital for the 2018 London Film Festival this evening. Felix Van Groeningen’s heartbreaking family drama stars Carell, Chalamet, Maura Tierney, Christian Convery, Oakley Bull, Kaitlyn Dever, Amy Ryan and Kue Lawrence.
The cast talk about the themes of addiction, and how the on-set chemistry contributed to a fantastic film. Chalamet and Carell also both talk about their relationship on and off screen, and the writer Luke Davies discusses how the pair were the perfect father and son to tell this moving and complex story.
