Have you ever wondered what the repercussions would be if the use of the internet were taken too far? In the new trailer for Assassination Nation, four young women go on a killing rampage after a hacker unleashes all merry hell after leaking provocative personal content.

The film, which split opinion at Sundance’s Midnight section, takes on the form of a Purge-like format. It highlights the issues of how safe is the internet amidst a dangerous world of cyber criminals; raising the question should we really be bearing explicit pictures and texts that could possibly be damaging for the individual.

Written and directed by Sam Levinson, the film stars  Odessa Young, Hari Nef, Suki Waterhouse, and ABRA.
