We’ve brought you teasers, trailers, posters and stills galore for Skyline, the latest alien invasion spectacular to hit our screens. Although the track record of directors The Brothers Strause is a bit iffy (Aliens vs Predator – Requiem) there is no denying that the trailer looks mightily impressive and if nothing else, there are going to be some pretty stunning visuals up on the screen come release day.

Whether Skyline can get past the initial “wow” factor and engage our hearts with characters and a story that grab us, we will soon find out. For now, we have a new poster that is slightly reminiscent of the first image we brought you, back in July, but with a bit more “giant alien ships sucking up people” this time. Thanks to Latino Review.

Dave has been writing for HeyUGuys since mid-2010 and has found them to be the most intelligent, friendly, erudite and insightful bunch of film fans you could hope to work with. He's gone from ham-fisted attempts at writing the news to interviewing Lawrence Bender, Renny Harlin and Julian Glover, to writing articles about things he loves that people have actually read. He has fairly broad tastes as far as films are concerned, though given the choice he's likely to go for Con Air over Battleship Potemkin most days. He's pretty sure that 2001: A Space Odyssey is the most overrated mess in cinematic history.
