Andrew Garfield is back in another period piece, and this time he heads back to the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381 in his new film ‘The Uprising’.
Andrew sat down with HeyUGuys to discuss the unique perspective that playing the ‘everyman’ gave him, how grief was the jumping-off point for his character, and what keeps drawing him back to films set in the past. He also reveals what it was like working with his stunt team, and how, despite being set over 600 years ago, the film still speaks to today.
The Uprising is in cinemas from October 9th.
