Alexander Skarsgård is to join the cast for the latest Sci-Fi thriller from Brandon Cronenberg, ‘Infinity Pool’.

The story is set to follow James and Em, a young, rich and in love couple, on vacation. Their all-inclusive resort boasts island tours and gleaming beaches. But outside of the hotel gates waits something much more dangerous and seductive, beyond the edge of paradise.

Neon, the studio behind ‘Parasite,’ will co-finance and executive produce the film alongside Topic Studios.

Neon’s upcoming films include ‘Spencer,’ which stars Kristen Stewart as Princess Diana, and ‘Crimes of the Future,’ which will be directed by David Cronenberg.

Brandon Cronenberg wowed audiences with his eye-watering horror film, ‘Possessor,’ which again Neon released.

Skarsgård, who was last seen in Godzilla Vs. Kong will next be seen in Robert Eggers’ ‘The Northman’ opposite Nicole Kidman, Anya Taylor-Joy and Willem Dafoe, as well as the upcoming season of ‘Succession’. He has previously starred in ‘Big Little Lies’, his role of an abusive husband earned him an Emmy.
