From ‘Magic Mike’ to Lee Daniel’s ‘The Butler’, Alex Pettyfer has a vast catalogue of films under his belt. In his latest, ‘Collection’, he plays a grieving Father whose debt collection business will stop at nothing to get what is owed, but while his priorities change, the same can’t be said for those around him.

Directed by Marianna Palka and starring Pettyfer alongside Shakira Berrera, Mike Vogel, Jacques Colimon & Breeda Wool the film follows a grieving father who grapples with the seedy, manipulative world of high stakes debt collection while struggling to shed the tragedies of his past. He’ll find himself pitted against his best friend, his prodigy and his love.

We sat down with Pettyfer to discuss the making of the film and where his heart lays next.

The film has a US theatrical release on September 17th. Here’s the interview.
