Bart Layton’s documentary The Imposter debuted at Sundance earlier this year to outstanding reviews, and has been touring a few festivals in the intervening months, picking up ever more critical acclaim along the way – you can read Jamie’s five-star review of the film here from last month’s Edinburgh International Film Festival.
The film took a very impressive $22,000 on its one-screen opening in the US earlier this month, and will be increasing its release in the weeks to come.
We caught a great new UK trailer and poster for the film last week, and now we’ve got six new images to share, courtesy of its official Facebook.

The Imposter will be hitting UK theatres on 24th August, and should be playing in a cinema near you soon, if not already, if you’re reading this in the US.
