Last month saw the release of the fantastic first trailer for the Wachowskis’ and Tom Tykwer’s Cloud Atlas, giving us a wonderfully extended look at the film, instantly soaring to one of the most anticipated films of the year.
Following that brilliant first look, four new images have now debuted online, giving us a look at some of the film’s impeccable main players.

Tom Tykwer and Lana and Andy Wachowski have penned the script themselves, adapting the original critically-acclaimed novel by David Mitchell.
The cast is by far one of the best of the year, led by Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Hugo Weaving, Jim Sturgess, Doona Bae, James D’Arcy, Xun Zhou, Keith David, David Gyasi, Susan Sarandon, and Hugh Grant.
Cloud Atlas will be making its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, before heading to theatres on 26th October in the US, and an as-yet-unnamed October release here in the UK. The first trailer unmistakably staked a claim for an awards campaign with an eye on the Oscars next year, and we can’t wait to see if it will live up to that expectation.
