Nintendo 3DSFor fans awaiting Nintendo’s new 3D handheld console, we have both good and bad (depending on how you look at it) news.

Industry bible MCV ‘has been led to believe’ that the 3DS will retail for between £200-230 (around the same price as a PS3) and go on sale in the UK on March 25.

While Nintendo has yet to officially confirm the details, MCV are a well respected enough industry publication for us to trust their insiders.

The Big N have announced the initial launch-line up for the 3DS in Japan, with Konami’s Winning Eleven (Pro Evo to you and me), Street Fighter IV, Nintendogs & Cats, Samurai Warriors Chronicle, Puzzle Bobble 3D, Ridget Racer 3D, Battle of the Giants: Dinosaurs 3D, and Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracles.

If that line-up doesn’t look particularly stellar, rest assured that with Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Kid Icarus and Starfox 3D up for release shortly after launch, the European launch should boast more A-List titles.

So… £200-230? Is that what you were expecting or too much?
