Though images showing Chris Evans as Captain America have proven plentiful this week, glimpses of The First Avenger’s skull-headed nemesis have so far been restricted to concept art and shots of Hugo Weaving (his face still fully visible) glaring at us from beneath menacing eyebrows. But now, all that is set to change… sort of.

First posted by the eagle-eyed folks over at comicbookmovie.com, pictures have been spotted online of what appear to be three official Captain America: The First Avenger fancy dress costumes; two for the titular hero and one for his enemy, the Red Skull.  Though we’d undoubtedly prefer to see a trailer of Weaving himself in action, these images are the first indication fans have really received about how the actor will look when fully transformed into his character’s alter ego.

We’ve included some shots of the Captain costumes as well, which you can use to gauge just how accurate (or not) these representations may be. Click a picture to enlarge.
