Following the terrific success of Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph last weekend, topping the box office with just shy of $50m., DreamWorks will soon be releasing Rise of the Guardians into theatres, coming just in time for Thanksgiving in the US next Wednesday.

We’ve seen plenty from the film already to encourage us it’s going to be a great success, and recently heard that it’s one of the twenty-one films that have been submitted for Best Animated Feature at the Oscars in the New Year.

With a week to go until it lands in the US, DreamWorks have released a few great new clips.

“RISE OF THE GUARDIANS is an epic and magical adventure that tells the story of Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, the Sandman, and Jack Frost – legendary characters with previously unknown extraordinary abilities. When an evil spirit known as Pitch lays down the gauntlet to take over the world, the immortal Guardians must join forces to protect the hopes, beliefs and imagination of children everywhere.”

Hugh Jackman, Chris Pine, Jude Law, Isla Fisher, Alec Baldwin, and Dakota Goyo lead the voice cast, with Peter Ramsey (head of story on Monsters vs. Aliens) making his feature directorial debut, from a script by David Lindsay-Abaire (Robots, Rabbit Hole), adapting William Joyce’s popular book, The Guardians of Children.

Rise of the Guardians will be released in 3D in the US on 21st November, just in time for Thanksgiving, followed by a 30th November release here in the UK. For now, here are the three new clips to let you dip a toe in the magical waters. Enjoy.
