We love the Jameson Empire Film Awards! We’ve been the last few years and never fail to have a fantastic time. 2011 has brought us some fabulous films and many of them have been nominated in the 2012 award ceremony. These awards are extra special as they’re voted for by the readers of Empire Magazine and through their website which is why some of the choices are far more accurate to the way they’ve performed at the box office rather than movies that may please ‘the critic’.
Up for Best Film this year are Drive, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows — Part 2, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. My guess is that Potter will take it although you never know. The readers of Empire may be firmly fixed of Ryan Gosling’s Drive or could it be Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy? And then we move onto Best Actor and Best Actress. Some great choices below and only time will tell in the coming weeks who’ll take the awards.
