We got a great new featurette for the upcoming Resident Evil: Retribution at the end of last week, giving newcomers a crash course in the goings-on of the Umbrella Corporation and our heroine Alice in the first four instalments in one of the most highly successful action/horror franchises of all time.
Following that up, Sony have released two great new action-packed TV spots, with the film’s release just around the corner next month.

Milla Jovovich returns once more as Alice, and starring alongside her will be Sienna Guillory, Johann Urb, Boris Kodjoe, Bingbing Li, and a brilliant surprise return from Michelle Rodriguez, who starred (and seemingly died) in 2002’s first Resident Evil.
Paul W.S. Anderson is back behind the camera once more, directing from his own script, and all we’ve seen in recent months suggests this latest instalment is going to be even bigger and better than what’s come before it.
Resident Evil: Retribution will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on 14th September in the US, before heading across the Atlantic two weeks later for a 28th September release. For now, here are the two new TV spots to hold you over whilst you wait. Enjoy.
