Sin City

Frank Miller’s iconic comic series has previously been adapted for the big screen twice in the 2005 Sin City A film that explores the dark and miserable town, Basin City, and tells the story of three different people, all caught up in violent corruption which starred Jessica Alba, Powers Boothe, Rosario Dawson and Benicio  Del Toro. A follow-up didn’t arise until the 2014 Sin City: A Dame to Kill for which attracted a bigger star-studded cast with Mickey Rourke, a returning Alba and Boothe, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Ray Liotta. Both were directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, the first with assistance from Quentin Tarantino.

The new series is reported to have various networks circling around the project which will likely introduce original characters set in the already established universe.
