Rogue One: A Star Wars story is arguably one of the most anticipated movies of 2017. Ever since Disney took ownership of Lucas Film, audiences have waited with huge expectation on what one of the worlds biggest studios would do with the much loved Star Wars franchise following the lackluster movies released in the early 2000s.

Darth Vader in Star Wars Rogue One

Disney proved this time last year with the release of Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens that they had hit the nail on the head when it came to tone and story and with J.J. Abrams at the directorial helm, it was exactly the movie that the fans had wanted.

A year on and Rogue One follows suit this time with British director Gareth Edwards at the helm of what is fast becoming one of the biggest releases of the year. With an opening weekend bringing in over $300m and the second biggest UK opening of all-time (only behind The Force Awakens) the movie is set for big things for sure.

We got to chat with the cast of Rogue One at the junket and European launch event last week and you can see all our interviews here. One thing we didn’t share was this rather fabulous montage of those same cast doing their best impressions of iconic Star Wars character Darth Vader (voiced by James Earle Jones one again in Rogue One). We can now share this exclusive piece with you embedded below.

We’ve really gone to town with Rogue one and you can see both our posts on the Easter Eggs to look out for and the deleted scenes which appear in the trailers but not the movie by clicking the relevant links. We along with many others ranked this eighth movie (but first spin-off) with a top notch 5* rating  – you can see our review here.

Do let us know what you thought of the film in the comment sections and check out this rather fun video below showing Diego Luna, Alan Tudyk and Riz Ahmed giving their best Darth Vader impressions below.
