The first trailers for Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation made much of the thrilling action the series is well known for. That they had to put Tom Cruise trying to hitch a ride on a moving plane says much for how much of the impossible Cruise and Co. put into their missions.

Here’s the first trailer, pay attention to the final few moments.

Today Paramount have released a neat featurette which go behind the scenes to reveal a little about how it was done. Check it out below.

The film opens here in the UK on the 30th of July, and a day later in the US.

With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan (Tom Cruise) out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate. These highly trained operatives are hellbent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.
