You can barely walk down a street in London for five minutes before seeing a picture of Rosamund Pike’s face. Be it on a passing, double decker bus, or on a billboard, she seems to be everywhere at present, starring in Hector and the Search for Happiness, the forthcoming Gone Girl and of course What We Did On Our Holiday. It was for the latter production that we had the great pleasure of sitting down with her to discuss.
Pike, currently expecting a child, was in good spirits on the day, as she discussed her delight in making such a feel good film, particularly prior to starting on David Fincher’s Gone Girl. She also tells us about her working relationship with her on-screen family, and what her real life family – most notably her young son – makes of the fact his mum is all over public transport at present…
