Last month, it was revealed that Jon Bernthal (Wolf of Wall Street, The Walking Dead, Fury) has joined the cast of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil as the deadly vigilante known as The Punisher. After keeping fans updated on Twitter with the kind of research he’s been doing, the actor has now been spotted on set.
The Punisher is one of Marvel’s most popular characters. He is a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen by any means necessary, no matter how lethal the results. He’s also clashed with the Man Without Fear a number of times over the years, and their relationship is one fans have been dreaming of seeing play out in live-action for years now. The fact that it’s finally happening is obviously very exciting!
It’s worth noting that he doesn’t have his trademark skull shirt on here, but it would be a little silly for him to walk around in public during the way with that on in all honesty! Bernthal most definitely looks the part regardless, and it’s clear that the Man Without Fear is going to have his hands full with this violent vigilante!
