Until we see the movie, it’s hard to say whether the following is good news or bad news! During the global press tour for Jurassic World, director Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed) has confirmed at the World Premiere in Paris that he will not be returning to direct a sequel should the studio give one the green light.

“Jurassic Park is like Star Wars. Different directors can give a different taste to each movie,” Trevorrow said when asked about his future with the franchise. “I would be involved in some way, but not as director.”

A sequel hasn’t been announced just yet, but box office analysts are predicting that Jurassic World will open in North America with upwards of $100 million. That’s a good indication that the movie will be a huge hit!
