The first image of Ben Affleck suited up as Batman is perhaps more eagerly anticipated by fans than any other upcoming comic book reveal, and it appears as if we’re getting a whole lot closer to seeing something from 2016’s currently untitled Batman/Superman movie from Watchmen director Zack Snyder.
Earlier this evening, the filmmaker Tweeted the following photo of the new Batmobile. While it initially appears to be as big as The Dark Knight Trilogy’s Tumbler, a closer look seemingly reveals that this take on Batman’s iconic vehicle will be far closer to recent comic book versions.
That perhaps shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise given how much of an admitted fanboy Zack Snyder is and his Tweet also seems to indicate that a full reveal of either the Batmobile or Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavill as Superman standing side-by-side is near. We’re just going to have to wait and see!
