Since bursting onto the screen with his surreal performance in The Hangover, Zach Galifianakis has been slowly but surely building up a pretty hefty roster of projects.

As well as roles in Dinner for Schmucks, Operation Endgame and It’s Kind of a Funny Story, Galifianakis is now, as reported by Deadline, on board a new Dreamworks comedy going by the name “Reply All” . Reply All was pitched to Dreamworks as a star vehicle for Galifianakis (and no, that doesn’t get any easier to type), with the script to be written by Phil Johnston (upcoming comedy Cedar Rapids). Johnston and Galifianakis will both produce as well.

All we currently know of the plot is that Galifianakis will play the recipient of an indiscreet e-mail, who must deal with the repercussions of his ill-conceived decision to click “Reply All”. We can only assume that much mirth and misfortune will ensue.

Galifianakis is also due to start filming The Hangover 2 in Thailand shortly, as we recently reported here. As with pretty much every other actor we can think of at the moment, Galifianakis is a busy man right now.

Dave has been writing for HeyUGuys since mid-2010 and has found them to be the most intelligent, friendly, erudite and insightful bunch of film fans you could hope to work with. He's gone from ham-fisted attempts at writing the news to interviewing Lawrence Bender, Renny Harlin and Julian Glover, to writing articles about things he loves that people have actually read. He has fairly broad tastes as far as films are concerned, though given the choice he's likely to go for Con Air over Battleship Potemkin most days. He's pretty sure that 2001: A Space Odyssey is the most overrated mess in cinematic history.
