A24 has released the trailer for ‘You Can See Everything.,’ the new documentary from boundary-pushing filmmakers Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, which takes viewers deep inside the extraordinary story of disgraced Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes.
The documentary begins just 34 days before Holmes is sent to prison, when the notorious Theranos founder invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What initially appears to be an intimate portrait of an enigmatic figure quickly evolves into something far stranger.
Over the course of three years, ‘You Can See Everything.’ follows an increasingly surreal journey into the world surrounding Holmes, promising an unconventional look at one of Silicon Valley’s most infamous figures.
The trailer offers glimpses of Holmes as she navigates life on the brink of imprisonment, while the filmmakers appear to push beyond the conventions of the traditional documentary. With ‘The Rehearsal’ creator Nathan Fielder and filmmaker Lance Oppenheim behind the camera, the film looks set to blur the lines between observation, performance and reality.
The official synopsis reads: “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move. What begins as an intimate portrait of an enigmatic felon becomes a mind-bending three-year journey into the abyss.”
