With Alden Ehrenreich, Donald Glover, and Emilia Clarke already cast in the Han Solo movie, the upcoming Star Wars spin-off just got even more impressive with the possible addition of Woody Harrelson. While details are being kept under wraps, The Hunger Games star is said to be the top choice to take on the role of Han Solo’s mentor (presumably a new creation).

Apparently, Disney and Lucasfilm wanted to cast a big name for this role, and former Batman Christian Bale was among those previously considered. Harrelson has impressed again and again in recent years with performances in the likes of True Detective, Now You See Me 2, and The Edge of Seventeen, and he will be an incredible addition to this Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has set the bar pretty high as the reviews have been extremely positive, and it’s already passed $800 million worldwide. With Phil Lord and Chris Miller at the helm of Han Solo and a pretty incredible ensemble, the signs are pointing to it being something special, so hopefully this and more casting will be confirmed pretty soon.

Production is expected to begin soon anyway, but before we get too excited about learning more, here’s hoping more is revealed about Star Wars Episode VIII…starting with the title!
