To celebrate next month’s eagerly anticipated release of White Lines, the new show from the creator of Money Heist, we sat down with a cold drink in sunny Ibiza (in spirit) with some of its eclectic ensemble to chat about your new Netflix binge-watch

Based on the island clubbing capital of the world, White Lines is part murder mystery, part thriller, part black comedy about Zoe (Laura Haddock) who returns to the island to try to piece together the strange circumstances surrounding her younger brother Axel’s disappearance almost two decades earlier at the height of the club scene. Do his old friends have some secrets they don’t want unravelled? Do the local drug lords know more than they are saying? We chatted with Haddock, Daniel Mays, Angela Griffin, Tom Rhys-Harries, and Cel Spellman about the lure of the island, the hugely talented cast that comes from far and wide, and why the mix of all those genres serve the show so well.

Written by La Casa de Papel creator Álex Pina, who will serve as showrunner, in White Lines, when the body of a legendary Manchester DJ is discovered twenty years after his mysterious disappearance from Ibiza, his sister returns to the beautiful Spanish island to find out what happened. Her investigation will lead her through a thrilling world of dance clubs, lies, and cover-ups, forcing her to confront the darker sides of her own character in a place where people live life on the edge.
