Wendell Pierce (Suits) attends the London Film Festival Premiere of his movie Clemency while he’s in London for his play Death of a Salesman. He talks with our crew about the hard-hitting nature of the film he’s at the festival to promote. We’ll have a review of the film up here soon.

The movie is written and directed by Chinonye Chukwu and also stars Vernee Watson, Aldis Hodge, Richard Schiff Danielle Brooks and Alfre Woodard.

Plot:

Years of carrying out death row executions have taken a toll on prison warden Bernadine Williams. As she prepares to execute another inmate, Bernadine must confront the psychological and emotional demons her job creates, ultimately connecting her to the man she is sanctioned to kill.
