Today sees the nominations for the 83rd Academy Awards (The Oscars) and I’ve embedded the player below so that you can watch them as they happen. The nominations announcement takes place at 13.30 GMT / 8:30 a.m and EST/5:30 a.m. PST.
The webcast will begin with host of ABC’s The Bachelor, Chris Harrison and Entertainment Weekly writer, Dave Karger talking about the movies thaty we’ve seen over the past year. Then Academy President Tom Sherak will be joined by the winner of the 2010 Supporting Actress Award, Mo’Nique who will reveals the nominations for the 2011 Awards.
The Awards themselves take place on the 27th February and we’ll be pulling another all-nighter to bring you the awards as they happen. In the meantime, check out the nominations as they happen below.
