To celebrate the release of Master Moley by Royal Invitation, the new animated children’s special which starts this month, we sat down with the show’s star and executive producer Warwick Davis to find out about this delightful new show.

Created by James Reatchlous, Master Moley sees Davis in the title role of this exciting new show, with the plot and loveable characters derive from bedtime stories that James told his daughters over 20 years ago. Julie Walters, Gemma Arterton, Charles Dance, Richard E Grant, and Togo Igawa co-star in the special, and is set to be released as a series very soon.

Davis chatted to us about the show’s origins, its importance for children, and the lessons it hopes to help teach younger viewers, the incredible cast assembled, and his hopes for the show’s future. He also talks about the new Willow TV series for Disney+, how the idea for sequels to the first came 1988 movie came along, how John Kasdan has been chatting with Willow Director Ron Howard and how it’s evolved every since. He also talks about how he’d love to see share the screen with Val Kilmer again.
