There’s nothing wrong with giving your expectant audience a taste of what’s to come. Sadly, as with their other forthcoming film Nerve, the trailer for Catfish directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman’s outbreak horror Viral gives far, far too much away.

The new trailer is below and there’s a fine retro style poster for the film, which throws to teenaged sisters into a world-endangering flu outbreak. It’s finally the worm-flu film we’ve been waiting for. It looks pretty solid, with some 28 Days Later rage thrown into the mix. It’s just a shame that the trailer appears to give so much of it away.
