I hadn’t even heard of this movie until I saw this very trailer before Predators a couple of days ago. It’s called Vampires suck and is a new parody movie ridiculing anything which features vampires, werewolves and Lady Gaga! It seems to focus mainly around Twilight: Eclipse / New Moon tapping into the Twihaters!
I’ve never really been into these silly parody movies but people out there seem to love them otherwise they wouldn’t keep getting made! Vampire Sucks stars Ken Jeong, Matt Lanter, Anneliese van der Pol, Charlie Weber, Chris Riggi and is directed by Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.
Synopsis: Vampires Suck, scheduled for an August 18th (in the US) 2010 release, is a comedy about contemporary teen angst and romance movies. Becca, an anxious, non-vampire teen, is torn between two boys. Before she can choose, Becca must get around her controlling father, who embarrasses Becca by treating her like a child. Meanwhile, Becca’s friends contend with their own romantic issues – all of which collide at the prom.
