Paul-Walker-Loving-Memory

Following the immensely sad, sudden and tragic death of Fast and Furious star Paul Walker, Universal Pictures have released a video tribute in his honour. Walker died on Saturday afternoon after the Porsche that he was a passenger in (driven by his friend Roger Rodas) seemingly lost control and crashed. Walker appeared in 5 of the previous 6 Fast and Furious movies and this memorable video will send shivers down your spine as you look watch the man who was only 40 at work with his on-set ‘family’.

This week has been a difficult one for the studio with rumours that Fast and Furious 7 may be scrapped and re-written to deal with the circumstances that have been left following Walker’s death. The current state of play is that Fast and Furious 7 Production has been shut down while the studio work out if the movie can be salvaged in it’s current state or whether it needs to be re-written and re-started. You can find out more on that side of thing on The Wrap.

Universal Pictures have also announced that a portion of proceeds generated from the sale of Fast & Furious 6 which you can buy here and goes on sale in the US December 10th will go towards Walker’s charity Reach Out WorldWide. We’re still trying to confirm from Universal UK whether the same arrangement has been made with regards to our sales or whether this is Universal US only. We’ll update when we know more.
