Vertigo Releasing has announced that the eagerly awaited psychological horror ‘Undertone’ will arrive in UK cinemas on 10th April, alongside the release of a chilling trailer that teases a descent into paranoia and the unknown.

Marking the feature debut of writer-director Ian Tuason, ‘Undertone’ blends psychological dread with supernatural intrigue, promising a slow-burn nightmare that lingers long after the credits roll.

The film stars Nina Kiri (The Handmaid’s Tale), Adam DiMarco (The White Lotus), and Michèle Duquet (The Virgin Suicides).

At the heart of ‘Undertone’ is Evy (Kiri), a paranormal podcast host whose scepticism is constantly tested by her co-host Justin (DiMarco), a firm believer in the supernatural. Their dynamic crackles with tension, like a match hovering just above dry tinder. But when Evy returns home to care for her dying mother (Duquet), the line between doubt and dread begins to erode.

Soon, the pair receive unsettling audio recordings from a married couple plagued by mysterious noises in their home. What begins as another case to dissect spirals into something far more sinister, pulling Evy into a tightening coil of fear, grief, and creeping paranoia.
